I Believe In Mediation and Collaborative Family Law

Rather than setting you up as opponents to fight, these out of court choices encourage you to think carefully about the future for yourselves and your children. I will listen so that I understand your vision of the best possible divorce.  I can take some of the pressure off and prepare you to talk through all of these issues constructively.

What Is Mediation?

Divorce Mediation is a private and voluntary settlement process for married coupes seeking a divorce and for domestic partners wanting to separate. Both parties are encouraged to engage in constructive conversations about complex and sometimes volatile family law issues to reach a settlement everyone can agree to. My compassion and experience as a trained Mediator allow me to guide divorcing couples through non-adversarial negotiations successfully.

What Is Collaborative Divorce?

Collaborative Divorce is a voluntary and private way for couples to resolve separation and divorce issues in a safe and dignified environment. We support you combining mediation skills with the problem-solving, knowledge-based advocacy of specially trained Collaborative lawyers, one for each of you. The respectful atmosphere throughout the legal process encourages understanding, compassion and cooperation. As an experienced Collaborative Lawyer, I have the knowledge and unique skillsets necessary for supporting productive conversations and providing structure for amicable negotiations. This can help set a positive tone throughout the divorce process and into the next stage of your life.
